Bernadette R. Giacomazzo is a Harvard University-certified editor, writer, photographer, publicist, and digital marketing specialist with more than two decades of experience in the entertainment arm of the industry. Her work has been featured in more than 100 digital and print publications, including Teen Vogue, People, The Daily Mail, Us Weekly, The Los Angeles Times, and The New York Post.

As a digital marketing specialist, Bernadette is certified in SEO best practices by Google and UC Davis, has advanced knowledge of SEO, PPC, link-building, and other digital marketing techniques, and has worked for a variety of clients in the legal, medical, and real estate industries.

As the CEO of G Force Marketing & Publicity (formerly Akasha Multimedia), she has worked with the likes of Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson and his G-Unit record label, rapper Kool G. Rap, Albie Manzo of The Real Housewives of New Jersey and Manzo’d with Children, the SopranosCon fan convention, and various photographers, artists, and models.

Based in New York, Bernadette is the co-author of Swimming with Sharks: A Real World, How-To Guide to Success (and Failure) in the Business of Music (for the 21st Century), and the author of the dystopian fiction series, The Uprising, whose first book, The Gathering, is out now. The second book in The Uprising series, Kings & Queens, will be available soon.

In addition to releasing her poetry chapbook, Aquarius Rising, on Nightingale & Sparrow Press in December 2022, Bernadette released In Living Color: A Cultural History on Rowman & Littlefield Press in February 2023, and released The Golden Girls: A Cultural History on Rowman & Littlefield Press in August 2023.

Bernadette will release Law & Order: A Cultural History on Rowman & Littlefield Press in February 2025, will edit Hail to the Queen Bey: A Celebration of Beyonce on FMP Press in July 2025.
